This course is taught by Daniel De Zutter, the current head of the Department of Information technology. Most of the students in this course will be in the second year of their Bachelors. The course is concerned chiefly with the application of E&M theory to transmission lines and Maxwell's equations in various media.

The course has a large programming component where you are grouped up with another student, failure to complete the programming component will result in failing the class.

The exam consists of a few theory questions which you do not have your notes to solve. You may then use the course notes to complete the second half of the exam which are variations of the exercises given throughout the semester.

The course is fairly well organized, but a large amount depends on the Assistant who teaches the exercises.
