In Nancy you are obliged to pay for the CVEC tax, the coordinators will help you with this and the Master will you pay you back. This tax allows you free access to all sport imaginable: dancing, yoga, boxing, swimming, climbing, tennis, ... The complete list can be found on the website of SUAPS. For some activities, you need to start attending the courses very early since they will stop accepting new students at a certain point. Personally, I really recommend taking salsa and bachata courses. There are two salsa clubs in Nancy with a great international community.

Moreover, Nancy has a great ESN community. When you arrive go get a membership card at their office and join the welcome week together with the students from your French course, it is a great way to kick-start your social life!
