Heating is a course currently given by Professor Heuraux. The course focusses on the main heating systems used in tokamaks but predominantly on microwave heating (ICRH, LH). Just as in the case of diagnostics, this course is alot of work but the information is less and more structured as was the case for diagnostics.

Exam

The exam to this course is completely the same as for the diagnostic systems part of diagnostics.
